FORT WORTH, Texas – Army narrowly beat Mizzou 24-22 in the Armed Forces Bowl Wednesday night at Amon G. Center Stadium.
The game came down to the final minutes of the game, as Army marched down for a game-winning field goal as the time expired, dashing Mizzou’s hopes of a comeback in the nail-biting game.
Minutes beforehand, the Tigers led Army 22-21 after Freshman quarterback Brady Cook missed a crucial two-point conversion with under a minute left in the game. This opened up the field goal that led Army to victory.
