COLUMBUS 6 – San Jose 4… Adam Boqvist netted a pair of goals and the Blue Jackets outshot the Sharks to snap their four-game skid. Andrew Peeke assisted on two goals. Elvis Merzlikins stopped 30 shots at goal.
Chicago 3 – N.Y. ISLANDERS 2 (SO)… Patrick Kane scored the lone goal in the shootout to send the Blackhawks past the Islanders. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stopped three shots in the tie-breaker and finished with 22 saves.
WINNIPEG 6 – Toronto 3… Six different players found the net as the Jets doubled up on the Maple Leafs. Blake Wheeler had two assists in his 1,000th NHL game. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 32 saves.
Los Angeles 5 – EDMONTON 1… Adrian Kempe scored two goals and the Kings cruised past the Oilers. Drew Doughty had a goal and two assists. Jonathan Quick stopped 21 shots at goal.
VEGAS 3 – Calgary 2… Evgenii Dadonov scored the decisive goal midway through the third period as the Golden Knights held off the Flames. Max Pacioretty and Nicolas Roy also scored for Vegas. Goalie Robin Lehner made 24 saves.
