The Kirksville Tigers survived a rough, physical Highland team by pulling away in the fourth quarter to beat the Cougars 67-54 Tuesday at Tiger Gym. KHS took their first lead late in the first quarter and led 27-19 at the half. Highland cut the lead to five in the third, but huge three pointers by Isaac Danielson and Keaton Anderson helped extend the lead back to 15. Danielson put it away at the free throw line, going 6 for 6 at the stripe, and 11-13 for the game on his way to 25 points. Anderson chipped in with 15. Next, KHS welcomes Centralia to Tiger Gym a week from Thursday.
