NFL SCORES…
Indianapolis 41 – BUFFALO 15… Jonathan Taylor ran for four touchdowns and caught a Carson Wentz scoring toss to lead the Colts (6-5) in their pounding of the Bills (6-4). Taylor finished with 185 yards rushing. Indianapolis scored three TDs off four Buffalo turnovers.
Baltimore 16 – CHICAGO 13… Devonta Freeman ran 3 yards for a go-ahead touchdown with 22 seconds remaining and the Ravens (7-3) dealt the Bears (3-7) their fifth straight loss. Baltimore was without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, who was ill.
CLEVELAND 13 – Detroit 10… The Browns (6-5) scored two second-quarter touchdowns to take a 13-0 lead at halftime and held on to down the winless Lions (0-9-1). Nick Chubb caught a 5-yard scoring pass in the second quarter and rushed for 130 yards. Jarvis Landry scored on a 16-yard run
Houston 22 – TENNESSEE 13… The Texans (2-8) stunned the Titans (8-3) to snap their eight-game losing streak. Houston’s defense recorded three of its four interceptions in the fourth quarter. Tennessee held a 420-190 advantage in total yards. Cousins passed for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Justin Jefferson had eight receptions for 169 yards and two scores.
Miami 24 – N.Y. JETS 17… Tua Tagovailoa hit Myles Gaskin with a tie-breaking 5-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter and the Dolphins (4-7) added a field goal in topping the Jets (2-8) for their third straight win. Tagovailoa also found Mack Hollins with a scoring toss and finished with 273 yards passing.
PHILADELPHIA 40 – New Orleans 29.. The Eagles (5-6) withstood a fourth-quarter rally to put away the Saints (5-5). Jalen Hurts ran 24 yards on his third touchdown run of the day to seal the win. Darius Slay returned an interception 51 yards for a score.
Washington 27 – CAROLINA 21… Taylor Heinicke passed for 206 yards and three touchdowns in leading Washington (4-6) past the Panthers (5-6).
MINNESOTA 34 – Green Bay 31… Greg Joseph’s 29-yard field goal as time expired lifted the Vikings (5-5) over the Packers (8-3). Ki Terry McLaurin had five catches for 103 yards and a score.
San Francisco 30 – JACKSONVILLE 10… The 49ers (5-5) scored on their first five possessions and never looked back in their trashing of the Jaguars (2-8). Jimmy Garoppolo threw two touchdown passes to Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle. Deebo Samuel broke off a 25-yard scoring run.
Cincinnati 32 – LAS VEGAS 13… Joe Mixon ripped off 11- and 20-yard touchdown runs and finished with 123 yards rushing as the Bengals (6-4) cruised past the Raiders (5-5). Evan McPherson kicked four field goals, including three of at least 50 yards.
KANSAS CITY 19 – Dallas 9… The Chiefs (7-4) turned it up defensively in holding off the Cowboys (7-3). Chris Jones piled up 3 1/2 sacks with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Charvarius Ward and L’Jarius Sneed thwarted drives with interceptions. Travis Kelce and Clyde Edwards-Helaire ran for touchdowns.
Arizona 23 – SEATTLE 13… Colt McCoy threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns and the Cardinals (9-2) fought off the Seahawks (3-7). Zach Ertz caught both scoring tosses in the first half,
L.A. CHARGERS 41 – Pittsburgh 37… The Chargers (6-4) recovered to beat the Steelers (5-4-1) after blowing a 17-point fourth-quarter lead. Justin Herbert connected with Mike Williams on a go-ahead 53-yard touchdown pass with 2:17 remaining. Herbert was 30 of 41 for 382 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for 90 yards. Austin Ekeler had two touchdown catches and ran for three scores.
