NHL SCOREBOARD…
FLORIDA 4 – Boston 1… The Panthers skated past the Bruins to become the 14th team in NHL history to start a season 7-0-0. Eetu Luostarinen scored a tie-breaking goal un the period. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves.

Detroit 3 – WASHINGTON 2 (OT)… The Red Wings came from two goals down in the second period to overtake the Capitols. Dylan Larkin scored the game-winner in overtime. Robby Fabbri netted a tying goal early in the third period.

Toronto 3 – CHICAGO 2 (OT)… The Maple Leafs outlasted the Blackhawks to snap their four-game losing streak. William Nylander’s overtime goal won it. Jack Campbell stopped 25 shots at goal.

Vegas 3 – DALLAS 2 (OT)… Evgenii Dadonov found the net at 1:59 of overtime to send the Golden Knights past the Stars. Jonathan Marchessault tied the game with 1:02 left in regulation with a shot from the left faceoff dot. Goalie Laurent Brossoi made 32 shots in his first start.

Philadelphia 5 – EDMONTON 3…  Cam Atkinson’s second goal of the game broke a third-period tie and the Flyers held off the Oilers. Carter Hart stopped 34 shots at goal.
