Blues Still Perfect

ST. LOUIS 3 – Los Angeles 0… Vladimir Tarasenko scored two goals and the Blues blanked the Kings to remain unbeaten. Goalie Ville Husso stopped all 34 shots in his second career shutout.

 

 

BUFFALO 5 – Tampa Bay 1… Victor Olofsson netted a pair of goals as the Sabres breezed past the Lightning. Robert Hagg had a goal an an assist. Tage Thompson set up two goals. Goalie Craig Anderson made 35 saves.

Washington 7 – OTTAWA 5… T.J. Oshie recorded his fifth career hat trick as the Capitals shot their way past the Senators. Alex Ovechkin scored twice in extending his point streak to six games.

FLORIDA 5 – Arizona 3… The Panthers downed the Coyotes to extend their unbeaten streak to six games. Frank Vatrano and Joe Thornton each scored their first goals of the season. Brandon Montour had two assists.

Calgary 5 – N.Y. RANGERS 1… Andrew Mangiapane found the net twice and the Flames skated past the Rangers for their third straight win. Blake Coleman and Mikael Backlund each had a goal and an assist.

CAROLINA 4 – Toronto 1… The Hurricanes got second-period goals from Sebastian Aho, Steven Lorentz and Nino Niederreiter and never looked back in their win over the Maple Leafs. Goalie Frederik Andersen made 24 saves against his former team.

COLUMBUS 4 – Dallas 1… Gregory Hofmann scored his first NHL goal and added an assist to lead the Blue Jackets past the Stars. Oliver Bjorkstrand and Zach Werenski each had a goal and an assist. Goalie Elvis Merzlikins made 31 saves and is unbeaten in four starts this season.
