BOSTON 6 – Tampa Bay 4… Cristian Vasquez hit a one-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the 13th inning to power the Red Sox past the Rays in Game 3 and give Boston a 2-1 lead in the best-of five AL Division Series. Kiké Hernandez singled home a run and homered. Kyle Schwarber also went deep. The series stays at Fenway Park for tonight’s Game 4. Boston sends Eduardo Rodriguez (13-8 regular season) to the mound, while Tampa Bay hadn’t named a starter. First pitch is set or 7:07 p.m. Eastern.

CHI. WHITE SOX 12 – Houston 6… The White Sox erased a 5-1 third-inning deficit and doubled up on the Astros in Game 3 to remain alive in the AL Division Series after dropping the first two contests on the road. Yasmani Grandal homered with a runner aboard and Leury Garcia added a three-run blast during a five-run bottom of the third inning. Eloy Jimenez produced a pair of run-scoring singles. The series remains in Chicago for today’s Game 4. Carlos Rodón (13-5 regular season) gets the start for the home team while Houston hadn’t named a starter. Gametime is 3:37 p.m. Eastern.
