The St. Louis Cardinals rested Thursday ahead of their big weekend series against San Diego. Miles Mikolas will go for the Cardinals Friday at 7:15 at Busch Stadium.
The Cardinals are currently the number two wild card team, but the Padres are only a half a game behind, the Reds are one game out, the Phillies are 2 1/2 out.
