NATIONAL LEAGUE
PITTSBURGH 6 – Arizona 5… The Pirates came from four runs down in the fifth inning to upend the Diamondbacks. Ke’Bryan Hayes’ infield grounder scored Kevin Newman with a go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning. Yoshi Tsutsugo’s leadoff homer sparked a three-run seventh.

CHI. CUBS 6 – Colorado 4… The Cubs erased a pair of three-run deficits before rallying past the Rockies in their final two at-bats. Rafael Ortega blasted a walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning. Michael Hermosillo’s game-tying RBI double capped a three-run eighth.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
BOSTON 8 – Texas 4 (11 innings)… Travis Shaw unloaded a walkoff grand slam in the bottom of the 11th inning after the Rangers scored twice in the ninth and once in the 10th. Alex Verdugo opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the second. Hunter Renfroe also went deep.

TORONTO 2 – Chi. White Sox 1… Breyvic Valera raced home with a tie-breaking run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning and the Blue Jays hung on to edge the White Sox. Vladimir Guerrero singled home a tying run in the sixth. The game featured a duel between Toronto starter Alek Manoah and his counterpart Lance Lynn, but neither got a decision.

Kansas City 7 – HOUSTON 1… Daniel Lynch (4-3) allowed just a run on six hits over five innings and the Royals breezed past the Astros. Salvador Perez went 2-for-3 with a solo homer. Whit Merrifield singled, doubled, tripled and knocked in three runs.

Seattle 5 – OAKLAND 3… The Mariners came alive in the later innings to get past the Athletics. Ty France homered and Jake Bauers singled home two runs during a three-run top of the ninth inning. Mitch Haniger homered with a runner aboard in the sixth.

INTERLEAGUE
N.Y. Yankees 5 – ATLANTA 1… Jordan Montgomery (5-5) held the Braves to a run o two hits over five innings and the Yankees cruised to the win. Giancarlo Stanton homered to lead off the top of the second inning and lied a tie-breaking two-run double in the sixth.
