St. Louis 2 – LOS ANGELES 1 (OT)… Justin Faulk scored 45 seconds into overtime to lift the Blues over the Kings. Faulk also set up Tyler Bozak’s third-period goal.
FLORIDA 4 – Tampa Bay 0… Goalie Chris Driedger stopped all 30 shots and the Panthers blanked the Lighting to secure home-ice advantage in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Juho Lammikko had a goal and an assist.
PHILADELPHIA 4 – New Jersey 2… Joel Farabee netted two goals and the Flyers topped the Devils in the season finale for both teams. Claude Giroux had two assists.
Edmonton 4 – MONTREAL 3 (OT)… Connor McDavid found the net 2:42 into overtime to send the Oilers past the Canadiens. Montreal nevertheless picked up the point it needed to clinch the final playoff spot in the North division.
BOSTON 3 – N.Y. Islanders 2 (OT)… Taylor Hall’s second goal of the game came at 2:53 of overtime and lifted the Bruins over the Islanders. Brad Marchand had a goal and an assist for Boston, which clinched third place in the East division.
NASHVILLE 5 – Carolina 0… Goalie Pekka Rinne made 30 saves in his second shutout of the season and the Predators closed out their regular season in a romp over the Hurricanes. Matt Duchene scored two goals.
Dallas 5 – CHICAGO 4 (OT)… The Stars came from two goals down midway through the third period to outlast the Blackhawks. Jason Robertson scored the game-winner with 30 seconds left in overtime. He also assisted on Jason Dickinson’s tying goal in regulation.
Vancouver 3 – WINNIPEG 1… Nils Hoglander scored a pair of goals to lead the Canucks past the Jets… Thatcher Demko stopped 39 shots at goal.
Colorado 2 – VEGAS 1… J.T. Compher scored a tie-breaking goal midway through the third period and the Avalanche hung on to down the Golden Knights in a matchup of teams battling for the West division crown. Philipp Brubauer made 36 stops at goal.
