The Kirksville Tigers were outmuscled by the Fulton Hornets Friday 62-52. The Tigers were cold from the field all night, and Fulton picked up most of the rebounds. The Tigers fell behind 26-9 in the first quarter and never threatened, although the Tigers did outscore the Hornets 20-11 in the fourth quarter, but the deficit was too much to overcome. Keaton Anderson led KHS with 17 points, 13 for Isaac Danielson, and 11 from Noah Copeland. Fulton was led by Josh Reams who had 15, 13 for Courtland Simmons. KHS drops to 12-3 overall and fall to 3-2 in the NCMC. Next, a big road trip Monday to Mexico for a JV/Varsity double header, varsity coverage on KIRX at 7:00.
