The Kirksville Lady Tigers beat Hannibal Friday 51-33 on Court Warming night. KHS got off to a quick start, taking an 18-0 lead in the first quarter. Hannibal wouldn’t score until 30 seconds to play in the period. The Lady Tigers led throughout, thanks to a murderous pressure defense which led to 21 Hannibal turnovers. KHS was led by Erica Treasure and Corinne Vorkink who each scored 11 points, overcoming 18 points from Hannibal’s Sydney Hart. KHS has now won 7 of their last 9. They climb to 8-8 overall and 4-2 in the NCMC. A big home game with Moberly is on the schedule Tuesday night.
