Mexico Hands KHS First Conference Loss

The Kirksville Tigers got tripped up by a very talented Mexico team Friday 72-57. KHS led by two at halftime, but the Bulldogs ratcheted up the defense and the pressure in the second half, outscoring Kirksville 23-14 in the 3rd, and 17-9 in the 4th. Mexico forced 17 turnovers while committing only five. A great game from Isaac Danielson in the loss, scoring 21 points, including 6 for 6 at the free throw line. Mexico big man Drew Blevins scored from everywhere on the floor, he finished 21 points, including 14 in the second half. Isaiah Reams with 18, 15 from Raef Yager. The Tigers dip to 11-2 on the year and 2-1 in the NCMC. The Tigers get a week off and tangle with Hannibal at Tiger Gym next Friday.
