N.Y. Islanders 3 – Philadelphia 2… Jean-Gabriel Pageau netted a go-ahead goal 7:18 into the third period and the Islanders hung on to edge the Flyers and go up 3-1 in the series. Brock Nelson scored New York’s first two goals off assists by Josh Bailey. Game 5 is tomorrow.
WESTERN CONFERENCE (in Edmonton)
Vegas 5 – Vancouver 3… The Golden Knights scored three unanswered goals in the third period to get past the Canucks and take a 3-1 lead in the series. Max Pacioretty fond the net twice and had an assist. Nate Schmidt added a goal and an assist. Game 5 is tomorrow.
Dallas 5 – Colorado 4… Radek Faksa scored a goal and had two assists as the Stars held off the Avalanche to take a 3-1 lead in the series. Roope Hintz and Jon Klingberg each had a goal and an assist. Game 5 is today.
