Samantha Kay (Thomas) Tillett 80, of Worthington, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at her home under the care of Hospice.

The daughter of Samuel Edward and Katherine Annette (Towns) Thomas, she was born on March 3, 1945 in Oregon, Illinois. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in Mt. Morris, Illinois. On December 28, 1984 in Loves Park, Illinois, she was united in marriage to LaVerne Jesse Tillett.

Samantha is survived by her children, Desiree Axelson of Worthington, Missouri, Dawn Conrady of Cochran, Georgia, Bobbie Wilson and husband, Charles of Rockford, Illinois, Gary Tillett of Canton, Illinois and Jeffry Tillett and wife, Shelly of Pecatonica, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Michael Thomas and wife, Jo of Plymouth, Illinois; one sister-in-law, Mary Thomas of Florida; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Samantha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LaVerne Tillett and one brother, Steven Thomas.

Samantha was a member of the Worthington Baptist Church in Worthington, Missouri and attended as long as her health permitted.
