Norma Lea (Robinson) Beeler passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lancaster, MO on October 21, 2025 at the age of 81.  The daughter of Claude and Norma (Butler) Robinson, she was born and raised in rural Putnam County, Missouri.

On June 28, 1959, at the young age of 15, Norma married William (Willie) Beeler and to this union six children were born, Billy, Bobby, Terry, Tammy, Rusty, and Holly.

Norma was a hard-working farm wife and mother.  She was well known for her cooking skills and kind, caring nature.  She worked at the Hi-Way Inn, the Lancaster sale barn café, and IGA grocery store while raising her 6 children.  She also spent time working at the south Wal-Mart in Kirksville, Missouri and as an Oats Transportation driver.

Norma loved to travel and was proud to have recently secured her passport so she could do more traveling outside the US.

Norma will be remembered for her love of card games, playing Bingo, beating her great-granddaughter, Alexis, at RumiKub, bird watching, quilting, puzzles, and gardening.  She especially loved doing these things with her children and grandchildren.

Norma is survived by her children Billy (Treasa) Beeler of Lancaster, Terry (Melinda) Beeler of Chesterfield, Tammy (Charles) Wheeler of Glenwood, Rusty (Janet) Beeler of Kirksville, Holly Cullers of Lancaster, and grandson Trevor Beeler of Kirksville, raised by Norma and Willie, 18 grandchildren – Damian, Daniel, Devon, Dawson, Morgan, Payton, McKenna, Jaxon, Everett, and Branden Beeler, Jordon and Nathanial Wheeler, Kyra and Xavia Cullers, Phoenyx Bradley, Laura Moreau, Emily Carreno, Kyle Behrman, 12 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Baylin, Grainley and Kaden Beeler, Kaylee Moreau, Liam, Emilia, Nolan and Bennett Wheeler, Anakin Bradley, Cristiano Carreno, and Carter Behrman.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Willie in 2022, son Bobby, her parents, and her sister Saundra Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sean Killin of New Hope Church in Kirksville, Missouri officiating. Music will be special selections of “Mamas,” “See You Again,” “Jealous of the Angels” and “How Do I Say Goodbye.” Pallbearers will be Daniel Beeler, Jordon Wheeler, Branden Beeler, Nathanial Wheeler, Jaxon Beeler and Devon Beeler. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nutrition Site or the Schuyler County Library. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.
