Jason Scott Meeker, 52, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the University Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
The son of Ronald Eugene and Karen Joy (Yowell) Meeker, he was born June 16, 1973 in Kirksville, Missouri.
Jason is survived by his parents Ronald and Karen Meeker of Kirksville, MO; two sons, Shayne Meeker of Ft. Worth, TX, and Scott Meeker of Columbia, MO; one daughter, Emily Meeker of Fulton, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Brian Eugene and Deann Meeker of Kirksville, MO; two aunts, Jolene Yowell of TN, and Carol Skouby of Lake of the Ozarks; one uncle, Dennis Meeker of Cape Coral, FL; as well as three nieces.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents; aunt Janelle Watt and husband Stewart; uncle, Gary Yowell; and cousin, Rick Yowell.
Jason was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1991. He was employed twenty-seven years for Kraft Foods and last worked in quality assurance for Hollister, Inc. the past three years.
Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting, guns, playing pool, liked working on things and loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle and his dog Shelby.
Jason has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
