Merrill “PeeWee” Eugene Hollon, 74, of Browning, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Brookfield Health Care Center in Brookfield, Missouri surrounded by family.
PeeWee was born on June 22, 1950, near Purdin, Missouri to his parents, Lyle Lee and Velma Charmane (Barrows) Hollon. PeeWee lived most of his life in the Purdin/Browning area. On February 1, 1975, he married Debra Coleen (Williams) Hollon, she preceded him in death in 2019. Also preceding him were his parents and a brother-in-law, Sonny Cassity.
PeeWee is survived by: His two children, Jeremy (Angie) Hollon and Josh (Sandy) Hollon; Grandchildren, Jamie Wolfe, Katie Hulett, Brittany Hollon, Corey Hollon, and Addison Hollon; Great grandchildren, Jensen Hulett, Jaxton Hulett, Lainie Coady, Aiden Coady, Timberlynn Wolfe, and Liam Buckner; Siblings, Billie Lee(Sue) Hollon, Ellena Kay Cassity, Phyllis (Johnnie) Wilson, Tommy Hollon, and Kevin (Linda) Scott; Step-Mother, Jeanette Hollon; Mother-in-law, Coleen Williams; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law, Sherry (Troy) Stith, Ed Williams, Scott (Charlotte) Williams, Jackie Freeman, David (Shawna) Williams, and Julie (Jim) Wright.
Over the years, PeeWee worked at ConAgra, PSF, Brookfield Fab, Walmart, and Frank Trager Construction. Also, they raised dogs for several years. He enjoyed going mushroom hunting, coon hunting, and fishing. PeeWee loved spending time with his family and visiting people.
A visitation for PeeWee will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, April 18, 2025, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Purdin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the Purdin Cemetery.
