The Kirksville Tigers trailed by nine at one point in the third quarter, fought their way back to tie it 38-38, but ended up losing to Marshall 59-54 Tuesday night. Marshall’s big man, Brody Kueker took over in the fourth with 7 points including an old fashioned three point play, and finished with 13 on the night. Angel Aguire made 5 of 6 free throws in the fourth and was 7 out of 8 for the game. Chase Thompson led the Owls with 15. Jace Kent led all scorers with 18 points, 13 for Cutler Lincoln. KHS dips to 16-10 and finish 6-4 in the conference. Next, it’s district tournament time against Fulton Monday night at 7:30 in Moberly.
