Lady Panthers Beat Lady Tigers

The Kirksville Lady Tigers fought hard to start the second half, but dropped a 61-51 decision to Palmyra Tuesday night. KHS trailed by 12 at halftime, then opened the third quarter on a 9-0 run and trailed by just one 46-45 at the end of the third. Palmyra pulled away with the help of their two best players, Claire Williams and Sydney Compton, and won 61-51. Too many Lady Tiger tournovers as Palmyra took the ball away 26 times. Eva Danielson led KHS with 18 points, including three 3’s, Paishynce Fouts ended with 15, Chloe Carter with 11. Williams and Compton each poured in 23 points. Kirksville dips to 7-5 and will host Hannibal Friday.
