The Highland Lady Cougars used a big third quarter on their way to a 57-40 win over the Kirksville Lady Tigers Tuesday night. KHS trailed by just five at halftime, but Highland outscored Kirksville 27-11 in the third to pull away. Highland had three players in double figures, led by Addy Abell with 15, 12 for Abby Lay, 10 for Keera Rothweiler. Kirksville was led by Paishynce Fouts with 12 points, 9 for Alia Puckett. Kirksville will open the home schedule next Tuesday with a JV/Varsity doubleheader with S. Shelby. The S. Shelby Boys are still playing football, so the boys game will be rescheduled.
