The Kansas City Chiefs have added some late help to its pass rush ahead of Tuesday’s 53-man roster cutdown.
According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Kansas City acquired Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Cam Thomas. In the deal, Kansas City gave up a seventh-round pick.
Thomas, a former third-round pick of the Cardinals from the 2022 NFL Draft, has three sacks in 32 career games. He has two years remaining on his rookie deal and will count for $1.4 million against the salary cap in 2024.
