The Chiefs used their first-round pick to add another speedy offensive weapon. Kansas City traded up and drafted Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy with the 28th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Worthy totaled 75 receptions for 1,014 yards and five touchdowns while suiting up for the Longhorns last season. The Chiefs are scheduled to next pick with the 64th overall selection in the second round.
