Chiefs Extend Team Leadership

The Kansas City Chiefs leadership team in the front office and on the field are staying in Kansas City for the foreseeable future.

Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt announced Monday the organization agreed to contract extensions with head coach Andy Reid, general manager Brett Veach and president Mark Donovan. While terms of the agreement remained undisclosed, the Chiefs said “the agreements ensure the leadership team of the Chiefs will remain in place for the long-term future.”

All three of the men have worked together since 2017.

Veach, who is preparing for his eighth season as general manager of the Chiefs in 2024, will oversee his seventh NFL Draft this weekend.

Reid has coached in Kansas City for 11 seasons.
