Tigers End Season Against Mexico

The Kirksville Tigers threw a scare at the Mexico Bulldogs, getting to within 3 points twice in the fourth quarter, but Mexico pulled away late with four big free throws by Kaden Benne, and a couple of huge 3-pointers by Jayden Eldridge and the Bulldogs win 54-46 in the district tournament semifinals. Eldridge finished with 23 points to lead all scorers, PJ Perkins 12, DJ Long with 11. Cole Kelly led Kirksville with 15, Justin McKim with 13, and Gavin Pike with 12. KHS finishes the season at 17-9, which includes a second place finish in the NCMC, and a District win over Moberly just the other night.
