The Kirksville Lady Tigers led by ten in the first quarter, by five at halftime, but after the break Hallsville turned up the defense and rallied for a 40-28 win Monday at the district tournament. Kirksville was outscored 23-6 in the second half. Paishynce Fouts led KHS with 12, Hallsville’s Haley Martin led all scorers with 19. Kirksville didn’t shoot well from the free throw line, only making 3 out of 14. Kirksville’s season comes to an end at 8-18.
