A Southeastern Conference victory continues to elude the Missouri Tigers, who fell to the Texas A&M Aggies 79-60 Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri (8-15, 0-10 SEC) was able to come within three points at one point in the second half, but ended up getting blown away for its 10th straight loss.
Texas A&M (14-8, 5-4 ) led 38-25 at halftime and the Tigers were able to cut the lead down to 46-43 with 13 minutes, 4 seconds remaining before the Aggies went on a 20-4 run over the next five minutes. Aggies senior guard Tyrece Radford knocked down eight points during the run.
Junior guard Tamar Bates paced the Tigers with 20 points, while senior guard Nick Honor tallied 19 and senior forward Noah Carter provided 11. Missouri went 46% (22-of-48) from the field.
Missouri hosts Mississippi State (14-8, 4-5) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Mississippi State took down Georgia 75-62 on Wednesday.
