Wanda Jean (Tipton) Hollon, age 90, of Milan, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.
The daughter of Herbert Wiley and Beulah Christine (Yardley) Tipton. Wanda was born on December 23, 1933, in Milan. On May 7, 1952, in Brookfield, Missouri, Wanda was united in marriage to Robert Lee Hollon and to this marriage there were four children; Robert Lee Jr., Amy Elizabeth, Sara Jean and Jennifer Sue.
Survivors include her son and wife, Robert Lee Jr. and Debbie Hollon of Unionville, three daughters, Amy Hollon and significant other Shane Billington of Green City, Sara and Scott Jennings of Browning and Jennifer and Randall Russell of Milan, Four grandchildren, Drew Alan and Ashton Russell of Milan, Ian Cole Russell of Milan, Emily Christine and Ellen Karol Jean Jennings of Browning, Great Grandchildren, Lane Noel Russell and Wrenlee Ann Russell, Sister-in-laws, Phyllis Hollon and Joan Hollon, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee, her parents, Herbert and Beulah Tipton, one granddaughter, Christina Grace Russell, a brother, Herbert Clifton Tipton, a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Tipton, Father and Mother-in-law, Carl and Cleora Adkins, Father-in-Law, Carl Francis Hollon, Brother-in-laws, Francis Hollon, Richard Hollon and Larry Hollon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan and burial will follow at the Shatto Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital or the Shatto Cemetery.
