Jimmy Kenneth Schempp, 69, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at LaBelle Manor Care in LaBelle, Missouri.
Jimmy was the son of the late Robert Kenneth and Margaret Elizabeth (Chadwell) Schempp. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Montague and Evelyn Hopkins.
He married Debra Jo Kite who survives. Jimmy is also survived by two sons, Dustin Schempp (Alexa Smyser), and Jason Schempp all of Kirksville, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Keith Stokes of Quincy, IL; as well as eight grandchildren, Payton Schempp, Hudson Schempp, Rylan Cook, Jaetyn Walter, Brecken Schempp, Madison McCarty, Jerzee Schempp, and Asher Schempp.
It was Jimmy’s wish to be cremated and his family will receive friends during a public visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Willmathsville Cemetery in Willmathsville, MO.
