The Kirksville Lady Tigers faced pressure defense again Friday and had trouble with it as Hannibal beat KHS 49-18 at Tiger Gym. Hannibal forced 26 Lady Tiger turnovers and as a result, KHS couldn’t get any offensive production. Chloe Carter scored 8 of her 13 points in the third quarter, but no one else could get hot. Hannibal’s Abbie Martin led all scorers with 16 points. Kirksville dips to 7-8 overall, 2-4 in the NCMC. Next, the girls head to Ashland for the Southern Boone Classic Tuesday at 7:30 against the host team Southern Boone Eagles.
