The Kirksville Lady Tigers snapped a three game losing streak with a taut 47-42 win over Mexico Friday night. KHS lead 22-13 at the half before Mexico cranked up the defense and tied the game twice in the fourth quarter. Two big old-fashioned three point plays by Paishynce Fouts and Chloe Carter in the fourth helped Kirksville pull away. Also, some big takeaways by Kirksville late in the game helped to seal the deal. Fouts finished with 14 points, Jersey Herbst with 11. Kirksville climbs to 7-6 overall, 2-2 in the NCMC. Next it’s a home double header against Moberly Tuesday night.
