The Kirksville Lady Tigers held off KC KIPP Saturday at the Twelve Courts of Christmas 41-36. KHS led 32-21 at the end of the third quarter before the Lady Gators got hot with Deavon Black to draw to within three late in the fourth. KHS led 39-36 with four seconds left when Megan Kinney got fouled, went to the free throw line with a double bonus and sank the game clinchers to put the game out of reach. Kinney finished 6 for 7 at the stripe to account for all of her six points. She was 4 for 4 in the fourth period. In all, the Lady Tigers were 11 for 17 at the free throw line. Paishynce Fouts led all scorers with 19 points with 4 three-pointers. Kirksville has now won three straight to get to 6-3.
