NFL SCORES…
CLEVELAND 20 – Chicago 17… Dustin Hopkins’ tie-breaking 34-yard field goal with 32 seconds remaining sent the Browns (9-5) past the Bears (5-9). Joe Flacco overcame three interceptions to throw a game-tying 51-yard touchdown pass to Amari Cooper with 3:08 to go. The victory wasn’t sealed until Cleveland’s D’Anthony Bell hauled in an interception of a Hail Mary heave into the end zone by Chicago quarterback Justin Fields on the game’s final play.

Tampa Bay 34 – GREEN BAY 20… Baker Mayfield completed 22 of 28 passes for 381 yards and found four different receivers with touchdown passes in leading the Buccaneers (7-7) past the Packers (6-8) for their third straight win. Chris Godwin had 10 catches for 155 yards for Tampa Bay.

Houston 19 – TENNESSEE 16 (OT)… The Texans (8-6) overcame the absence of injured quarterback C.J. Stroud to erase a 13-point deficit and top the Titans (5-9). Kai Fairbairn kicked a game-winning 54-yard field goal as time expired in overtime. Noah Brown caught a game-tying 3-yard TD pass from Case Keenum with 3:03 remaining in regulation. Devin Singletary rushed for 121 yards. Defensively, Houston sacked Tennessee rookie quarterback Will Levis seven times.

MIAMI 30 – N.Y. Jets 0…  Raheem Mostert ran for a pair of touchdowns, Tua Tagovailoa threw a 60-yard scoring pass to Jaylen Waddle for a score and the Dolphins (10-4) blanked the Jets (5-9). The loss eliminated eliminated New York from playoff contention for the 13th straight season.

Kansas City 27 – NEW ENGLAND 17… Patrick Mahomes passed for 305 yards and two touchdowns as the Chiefs (9-5) fought off the Patriots (3-11) to snap a two-game skid. Running back Jerick McKinnon threw a TD pass and ran for a score.

NEW ORLEANS 24 – N.Y. Giants 6… Derek Carr connected on 23 of 28 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Saints (7-7) past the Giants (5-9). Defensively, New Orleans sacked New York quarterback Tommy DeVito seven times.

CAROLINA 9 – Atlanta 7…  Eddy Pineiro’s 23-yard field goal on the game’s final play gave the Panthers (2-12) a hard-fought win over the Falcons (6-8). Atlanta entered the game tied with New Orleans and Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South, but the loss put their postseason hopes in doubt.

L.A. RAMS 28 – Washington 20… Matthew Stafford passed for 258 yards and two touchdowns and the Rams (7-7) held off the Commanders (4-10). Cooper Kupp’s eight receptions for 111 yards included a 62-yard TD catch. Kyren Williams ran for 152 yards and a score, but lost two fumbles.

San Francisco 45 – ARIZONA 29… The 49ers (11-3) clinched the NFC West title by streaking past the Cardinals (3-11) for their sixth straight win and ran their winning streak to six games. Brock Purdy passed for 242 yards and four touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown to go with his two scoring receptions. Deebo Samuel also caught two TD tosses. Charvarius Ward led the defense with two interceptions, including a pick-6 in the first quarter.

BUFFALO 31 – Dallas 10… The Bills (8-6) used a dominant ground game to hand the Cowboys (10-4) their first loss in six games. James Cook rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown to go with a TD reception. Josh Allen and Latavius Murray also ran for scores.

Baltimore 23 – JACKSONVILLE 7… The Ravens (11-3) cruised past the Jaguars (8-6) to win their fourth in a row and clinch a playoff spot. Lamar Jackson threw for a touchdown and Gus Edwards ran for a score. Jackson passed for 171 yards and ran for 97 more. The loss was Jacksonville’s third straight.
