KHS Steamrolls South Shelby

The Kirksville Tigers dominated from start to finish in a 57-31 win over South Shelby Tuesday night in Shelbina. The Tigers led 11-2 at the end of the first, 25-9 at halftime, and outscored the Cardinals 27-6 in the third to take a 52-15 lead. Justin McKim led all scorers with 20 points, including four three pointers. The Tigers turned the ball over 15 times, which was a bit of a concern, but KHS climbs to 2-0 on the year. To tie up a side note, coach Tyler Martin got called for a technical foul in the fourth quarter after it was learned that he had reported the wrong jersey number for Bennett Fraser. Not a big deal. Next, the Tigers host Macon Thursday night for part two of Thursday’s doubleheader.
