Marshall Larry Moore

Marshall Larry Moore, 84 of Milan Mo, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.

Larry, as he was called all his life, was born on July 29, 1939, to Beryl and Grace (Stoddard) Moore in Avon, IL. He graduated from Bushnell Prairie City High School in 1957.

He married Karen Trout in Bushnell, IL on December 25, 1958, she survives of the home. To this union, five children were born; Lori (David) Binkley of Milan, Missouri; Lisa (Brad) Worth, of Kirksville, Missouri; Susan Moore Culver of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Kristi (Jason) White of Lexington, South Carolina; Kari (Tauran) Watkins of Las Vegas, Nevada. He had fourteen grandchildren: Joel (Cassie) Binkley of Annapolis, Maryland; Tyler (Hannah) Binkley of Milan, Missouri; Grant (Tiffany) Binkley of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Ben Gibson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Amy (James) Strohmeyer of Little Rock, Arkansas; Rebecca (Calvin) Huff of Springdale, Arkansas; Roman White of Lexington, South Carolina; Aubrey White of Lexington, South Carolina; Ann (Jimmy) Parker of Las Vegas, Nevada; Kimmi (Dane) Maruyama of Henderson, Nevada; Zachary Dezell of Las Vegas, Nevada; Vann Watkins of Las Vegas, Nevada; Sawyer Watkins of Las Vegas, Nevada and Axl Watkins of Las Vegas, Nevada. He had eight great grandchildren: Ezra Binkley, Bonnie Binkley, Silas Binkley, Drax Huff, Eisley Huff, Marlee Parker, Everett Parker, and Link Maruyama and two sisters: Dianne Schoonover of Roseville, Illinois; and Jane Westerhold of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Beryl and Grace Moore and his in-laws; Willie and Theda Trout.

A funeral service for Larry will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Ruschmeier-Smith Funeral Home in Milan, Missouri. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will be held at Shatto Cemetery following the service.
