NFL SCORES…
KANSAS CITY 21 – Miami 14… The Chiefs (7-2) held off the Dolphins (6-3) in a contest played in Frankfurt, Germany. Patrick Mahomes threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes. Safety Bryan Cook returned a fumble 59 yards for a score.
Minnesota 31 – ATLANTA 28… Newly acquired Joshua Dobbs threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Powell with 22 seconds remaining to push the Vikings (5-4) past the Falcons (4-5). The TD toss was Dobbs’ second of the day and he also ran for a score.
CLEVELAND 27 – Arizona 0… The Browns (5-3) allowed just 58 yards of offense in shutting out the Cardinals (1-8). Deshaun Watson threw two touchdown passes. Amari Cooper had five catches for 139 yards and a score.
GREEN BAY 20 – L.A. Rams 3… The Packers (3-5) grinded out a win over the Rams (3-6) to snap their four-game skid. Aaron Jones ran three yards for a score and Jordan Love threw a 20-yard TD pass to Luke Musgrave. The loss was L.A.’s third in a row.
Washington 20 – NEW ENGLAND 17… Sam Howell passed for 325 yards and a touchdown in leading the Commanders (4-5) to their first road win over the Patriots (2-7) since 1996. Jartavius Martin’s late interception helped seal Washington’s first win in three games.
NEW ORLEANS 24 (5-4) – Chicago 17 (2-7)… The Saints forced five turnovers in fighting their way past the Bears. Taysom Hill caught a touchdown pass and threw for another. Paulson Adebo intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble that he forced.
BALTIMORE 37 – Seattle 3… Keaton Mitchell ran for 138 yards and his first career touchdown as the Ravens (7-2) thrashed the Seahawks (5-3) in a matchup of first-place teams. Gus Edwards rushed for two other scores. Baltimore limited Seattle to six first downs and held a 515-151 total-yardage advantage.
HOUSTON 39 – Tampa Bay 37… Rookie C.J. Stroud threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Tank Dell with 6 seconds remaining to lift the Texans (4-4) over the Buccaneers (3-5). Stroud passed for 470 yards and five scores on the day. The winning drive came just 40 seconds after Tampa Bay took the lead. Dell finished with 114 yards receiving. Tampa Bay has dropped four straight.
Indianapolis (4-5) 27 – CAROLINA 13 (2-6)… Kenny Moore returned two interceptions for touchdowns, Gardner Minshew connected with Jonathan Taylor on a scoring pass and the Colts downed the Panthers for their first win in four games. Indianapolis intercepted Carolina quarterback Bryce Young three times.
LAS VEGAS 30 – N.Y. Giants 6… The Raiders (4-5) pounded the Giants (3-6) to make Antonio Pierce a winner in his debut as Las Vegas’ interim head coach. Las Vegas notched it up defensively in recording eight sacks. Josh Jacobs rushed for 98 yards and two scores. Aidan O’Connell got the start at quarterback and passed for 209 yards.
PHILADELPHIA 28 – Dallas 23… The Eagles (8-1) turned away a late drive to escape with a win over the Cowboys (5-3). Jalen Hurts overcame a sore knee to throw a pair of touchdown passes and run for a score.
CINCINNATI 24 – Buffalo 18… Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes, Joe Mixon ran for a score and the Bengals (5-3) held off the Bills (5-4). Burrow passed for 348 yards. Tee Higgins had eight catches for 110 yards.
