JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. – Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office booked Ross into custody at 4:27 p.m. on allegations of criminal damages exceeding $25,000. Court records said Ross was arrested at 2:54 p.m. in Shawnee, Kansas, and included a note denoting the arrest as a domestic violence incident.
There is currently no bond set for Ross. He’s due to make his first appearance in court Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
The team told the Associated Press that it was aware of the arrest but had no comment.
