RANGERS TIE AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES 3-3…
Texas 9 – HOUSTON 2… Jonah Heim’s two-run homer in the top of the fourth inning broke a 1-1 tie and the Rangers rolled past the Astros to force tonight’s Game 7 in the ALCS. Adolis Garcia unloaded a grand slam to cap a five-run ninth. Mitch Garver led off the second with a game-tying homer and gave Texas a two-run lead with an RBI double in the eighth. Nathan Eovaldi ran his record to 4-0 in the postseason with a solid 6-1/3-inning effort. He allowed two runs on five hits. Neither team has announced a starter in tonight’s series finale. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 and the game airs on FOX/FS1.
