KHS Puts Away Fulton

Jace Kent ran for 245 yards and three touchdowns, and Ryder Lyons ran for three scores of his own as the Kirksville Tigers steamrolled past the Fulton Hornets Friday 44-7. The Tigers broke away from a 7-7 first quarter tie to reel off five unanswered touchdowns to take a 44-7 lead at the break. The second half went continuous clock and several reserves saw valuable action as the Tigers breezed to the win on a blustery night at Fulton. KHS climbs to 4-4 on the season and finishes 3-2 in the NCMC. Next, the Tigers wrap up the regular season with a home date against Capital City for Senior Night Friday. Capital City beat Truman 48-7.
