PHILADELPHIA 10 – Atlanta 2… Bryce Harper homered twice and drove in four runs, Nick Castellanos homered twice with the bases empty and the Phillies pounded the Braves to take a 2-1 lead in the NLDS. Trea Turner and Brandon Marsh also went deep. Aaron Nola allowed two runs on six hits over 5-2/3 innings.
Houston 3 – MINNESOTA 2… The Astros held off the Twins to wrap up the series in four games and advance to take on Texas in the AL Championship Series beginning on Sunday. Michael Brantley hit a game-tying solo homer in the top of the second inning and José Abreu homered with a runner aboard in the third. José Urquidy allowed just two runs on three hits over 5-2/3 innings.
ARIZONA 4 – L.A. Dodgers 2… Ketel Marte, Christian Walker and Gabriel Moreno homered as the diamondbacks scored all four runs in the bottom of the third inning and hung on to complete a sweep of the Dodgers in the NLDS. They await the winner of the Philadelphia-Atlanta series in the NL Championship Series. Starter Brandon Pfaadt and reliever Joe Mantiplay held L.A scoreless over the first six innings.
