MLB Playoffs Tuesday 10-10

MLB DIVISION SERIES…
Houston 9 – MINNESOTA 1… The Astros rolled past the Twins to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five ALDS. José Abreu homered twice and drove in five runs. Alex Bregman and Yordan Alvarez also went deep. Cristian Javier allowed just one hit over five scoreless innings. The series remains in Minneapolis for Game 4 today. Houston will try to close out the series behind starter Joe Ryan. Minnesota hasn’t named a starter.

TEXAS 7 – Baltimore 1… Adolis Garcia’s three-run homer capped a five-run bottom of the second inning and the Rangers never looked back in pounding the Orioles to complete a sweep of the ALDS. Nathaniel Lowe also went deep and Mitch Garver doubled home two runs. Nathan Eovaldi surrendered just a run on five hits over seven innings. Texas awaits the winner of the Houston-Minnesota series in the AL Championship Series beginning on Sunday.
