NATIONAL LEAGUE
MIAMI 16 – Atlanta 2… Jazz Chisholm Jr. unloaded a grand slam, Jake Burger blasted a three-run homer and the Marlins dismantled the Braves. Jorge Soler homered with a runner aboard. Luis Arraez had three hits, including a pair of run-scoring singles. Jesús Luzardo (10-9) pitched four-hit ball over six scoreless innings.

N.Y. METS 8 – Cincinnati 4… Daniel Vogelbach’s double cleared the bases during a four-run bottom of the seventh inning that carried the Mets past the Reds. Francisco Alvarez contributed a two-run double for New York.

Washington 2 – MILWAUKEE 1 (11 innings)… Joey Menesez’s sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning scored CJ Abrams with a tie-breaking run and the Nationals made it stand in outlasting the Brewers. Luis Garcia homered for Washington.

ST. LOUIS 6 – Philadelphia 5… Jorden Walker’s two-out solo homer in the bottom of the eighth inning sent the Cardinals past the Phillies. Paul Goldschmidt hit a solo homer and doubled home two runs. Nolan Arenado drove in two runs with a single and a double.

San Francisco 11 – COLORADO 10… The Giants held off the Rockies after building 9-0 and 11-5 leads. Brendan Crawford’s three-run homer highlighted an eight-run top of the sixth inning. Mitch Hanigar singled, doubled and knocked in three runs.

ARIZONA 6 – Chi. Cubs 2… The Diamondbacks scored three times in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in their win over the Cubs. Starling Marte homered with a runner aboard in the sixth. Four relievers shut the door over the final 5-2/3 innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
BALTIMORE 5 – Tampa Bay 3 (11 innings)… Cedric Mullins’ sacrifice fly brought home Adley Rutschman with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Orioles outlasted the Rays. Rutschman homered in the eighth and singled home Aaron Hicks with a tying run in the 10th.

TORONTO 3 – Boston 2… Matt Chapman tripled home Cavan Biggio in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Blue Jays a hard-fought win over the Red Sox. Daulton Varsho’s solo homer in the fifth gave Toronto a 2-0 lead that it couldn’t hold.

CLEVELAND 9 – Texas 2… José Ramírez hit a leadoff homer and the Guardians scored all nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to bury the Rangers. Andrés Giménez knocked in three runs during the uprising with a single and a double. Gabriel Arias added a two-run single.

Houston 7 – KANSAS CITY 1… The Astros cruised past the Royals after spotting them an early run. Wil Meyer and Yordan Alvarez hit solo homers. Alvarez also drew a bases-loaded walk. Framber Valdez (12-10) surrendered an unearned run on five hits over seven innings.

Minnesota 4 – CHI. WHITE SOX 0… Sonny Gray (8-7) limited the White Sox to five hits over seven innings and two Twins relievers completed the shutout. Edouard Julien broke a scoreless tie with a three-run homer in the top of the fifth inning and Jorge Polanco homered to lead off the eighth.

Detroit 5 – L.A. ANGELS 3… Colby Rogers homered twice and knocked in four-runs to help the Tigers take an early 5-0 lead and they coasted past the Angels. Matt Vierling had a couple of hits and scored a run.

INTERLEAGUE
PITTSBURGH 3 – N.Y. Yankees 2… Jason Delay doubled home Jared Triolo with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the seventh inning and the Pirates made it stand in edging the Yankees. Miguel Andujar hit a solo homer. Five Pittsburgh pitchers combined on a four-hitter.

San Diego 10 – OAKLAND 1… Juan Soto homered with a runner aboard and unloaded a grand slam in helping power the Padres past the Athletics. Matthew Batten produced a two-run single.

L.A. Dodgers 6 – SEATTLE 1… Jason Heyward had three hits, including a solo homer and run-scoring single, as the NL West-champion Dodgers scooted past the Mariners. Austin Barnes hit a two-run homer.
