NATIONAL LEAGUE
San Diego 4 – ST. LOUIS 1… Blake Snell (11-9) tossed two-hit ball over seven scoreless innings and the Padres breezed past the Cardinals. Garrett Cooper stroked a pair of run-scoring singles for San Diego.

Milwaukee 6 – CHI. CUBS 2… Christian Yelich hit a leadoff homer and Mark Canha added a two-run shot during a four-run top of the first inning and the Brewers cruised past the Cubs. Wade Miley (7-2) allowed two runs on four hits over six innings.

Atlanta 14 – COLORADO 4… Ronald Acuña Jr. had four hits, including a two-run homer and a bases-clearing double, in leading the Braves past the Rockies. Austin Riley hit a two-run homer and singled home a run.

SAN FRANCISCO 4 – Cincinnati 1… Kyle Harrison (1-0) tossed three-hit ball over 6-1/3 innings and the Giants eased past the Reds. Wilmer Flores, Patrick Bailey and pinch-hitter Wade Meckler produced RBI doubles for San Francisco.

L.A. DODGERS 7 – Arizona 4… The Dodgers got two-run homers from Max Muncy and Jason Heyward in downing the Diamondbacks. Freddie Freeman and James Outman hit solo homers. Outman also singled home a run.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
N.Y. Yankees 4 – DETROIT 1… Luis Severino (4-8) limited the Tigers to five hits over seven scoreless innings and the Yankees breezed to the win. Gleyber Torres doubled home a run and homered. Aaron Judge also went deep.

BALTIMORE 9 – Chi. White Sox 0… Grayson Rodriguez (4-3) pitched one-hit ball over six innings and three Orioles relievers completed the shutout of the White Sox. Anthony Santander belted a three-run homer. Ryan O’Hearn and Ryan McKenna lined two-run singles.

Houston 13 – BOSTON 5… Jose Altuve and Yordan Alvarez each had four hits and knocked in four runs to lead the Astros in their pounding of the Red Sox. Altuve legged out a two-run triple and homered with a runner aboard. Alvarez singled home a run and blasted a three-run homer to highlight a six-run top of the sixth inning. Jose Abreu singled home a run and homered.

MINNESOTA 10 – Cleveland 6… Royce Lewis unloaded a grand slam in the top of the second inning as the Twins erased an early four-run deficit to down the Guardians. Jorge Polanco connected for a three-run shot. Matt Wallner also went deep.

SEATTLE 7 – Oakland 0… Bryan Woo (2-3) held the Athletics to three hits over six innings and got help from three Mariners relievers in the blanking of the Athletics. Julio Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with an RBI double and a two-run homer. J.P. Crawford provided all the offense Seattle needed with a homer to lead off the bottom of the first inning.

INTERLEAGUE
PHILADELPHIA 6 – L.A. Angels 4… Trea Turner homered twice and drove in three runs to push the Phillies past the Angels. Bryce Harper smacked a two-run homer.

TORONTO 6 – Washington 3… Vladimir Guerrero doubled home two runs and came around to score during a four-run bottom of the second inning and the Blue Jays went on to double up on the Nationals. Danny Jansen homered and scored three runs.

Texas 4 – N.Y. METS 3… The Rangers rallied past the Mets after spotting them a three-run lead. Nathaniel Lowe came through with a go-ahead two-out, two-run single in the top of the ninth inning.

Pittsburgh 5 – KANSAS CITY 0… Pirates starter Johan Oviedo (8-13) went the distance on a two-hitter in shutting out the Royals. Ke’Bryan Hayes went 4-for-4 with a run-scoring double.
