Vicky Lynn (Sharp) Steele, 70, of Green Grove, formerly of Shibley’s Point community, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Northeast Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family and dear friends.
Vicky was born on July 20, 1953 in Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital, to Elmer Pearl Sharp and Peggy (Gochnauer) Sharp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Jackie Sue and sister Kitty Pope, brother in laws John Smith, Jerry Steele, and sister in law Wilda Steele.
Vicky is survived by her husband Ralph Steele, daughter Dawn(Matt) Steele and special great niece Bailey (Caleb)Wright, sister Sandra Sharp, Sister-in-law Marieta (John) Allen and Zelda Smith, nephews Shane (Michelle) Pope, Louis Pope, Charity (Frank) Stewart, nieces and nephews, Alice, Kevin, and Jake, nieces Denise, Reagan Hartenberger; nephew J.C. Steele and family; great nephews Anthony (Rachael) Pope, James Connelly, Kail and Cody Shrouf, and mother Julia Connelly; great nieces Chelsea, Meagan, Brie, Aaliyah, and Keegan Stewart, Raven Pope, great great nieces\nephews: Amarah Connelly and her mother Desiree Hilderman, Legend Karigan, Stacia Wright, Kole, Levi, Kinzlee and Addie Pope.
A visitation will be held at Travis Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO on Friday August 18th, 2023 at 1:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm. It was Vicky’s wishes to have her ashes spread at the farm.
