MLB SCOREBOARD…
NATIONAL LEAGUE
Philadelphia 4 – MIAMI 2… The Phillies eased past the Marlins after spotting them a two-run lead after the first inning. Johan Rojas tied the game with a two-run double in the top of the fourth inning and Bryson Stott lifted a tie-breaking sacrifice fly in the seventh.

WASHINGTON 5 – Milwaukee 3… Joey Menesez’s homer to lead off the bottom of the second inning opened the scoring and he added a tie-breaking two-run single to cap a three-run eighth that carried the Nationals past the Brewers. Lane Thomas stroked a pair of run-scoring singles.

Cincinnati 6 – CHI. CUBS 5… The Reds did all their scoring early and held off the Cubs. Luke Maile whacked a two-run double. Joey Votto, Christian Encarnacion-Strand and Will Benson each had two hits and an RBI.

Arizona 4 – SAN FRANCISCO 3 (11 innings)… Ketel Marte doubled home Gerardo Perdomo with a tie-breaking run in the top of the 11th inning and the Diamondbacks made it stand in outlasting the Giants. Both teams scored single runs in the 10th.

COLORADO 4 – San Diego 3 (10 innings)… Ryan McMahon’s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning brought home Brenton Doyle with the winning run as the Rockies edged the Padres. McMahon also homered in the sixth. Elehuris Montero had a couple of hits, including an RBI double.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Tampa Bay 5 – N.Y. YANKEES 1… Tyler Glasnow (8-3) limited the Yankees to a run on three hits over seven innings and the Rays cruised to the victory. Brandon Lowe provided all the offense Tampa Bay needed with a two-run homer in the top of the first inning. Wander Franco, Isaac Paredes and Josh Lowe also went deep for Tampa Bay.

Baltimore 4 – TORONTO 2… Ryan Mountcastle doubled home two runs in the top of the first inning and lifted a sacrifice fly in the third to lead the Orioles past the Blue Jays. Baltimore left-fielder Austin Hays made a diving catch with two runners aboard in the ninth to preserve the win.

HOUSTON 7 – Cleveland 3… Yordan Alvarez belted a go-ahead three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Astros topped the Guardians. Kyle Tucker singled homer a run and lifted a sacrifice fly. J.P. France allowed two runs on seven hits over seven innings.

SEATTLE 6 – Boston 2… Cal Raleigh hit a pair of solo homers, Julio Rodriguez lined a two-run single and the Mariners downed the Red Sox. Nick Pivetta (7-6) gave up three runs on five hits and struck out 10 over 7-1/3 innings.

INTERLEAGUE
L.A. Angels 4 – ATLANTA 1… Chase Silseth (3-1) held the Braves to a run on three hits over five innings and three Angels relievers shut the door. Luis Rengifo homered to lead off the game and the Angels also got solo blasts from Randal Grichuk and Chad Wallach.
