Jacqueline S. Eitel, age 86 of La Plata, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the La Plata Nursing Home.
Born December 2, 1936 in Atlanta, Missouri, the daughter of Otho Clark and Adah Stell (Kaster) Mason. On December 15, 1956 in La Plata, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Lavon Eitel who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Andy (Rhonda) Eitel, Todd (Jennifer) Eitel, and Sheldon (Lynn) Eitel; one daughter, Vonna (Brian) Scholzen; seven grandchildren, Heather Eitel, Kyle (Megan) Eitel, Ashlynn Scholzen, Gavin Scholzen, Elena Scholzen, Athena (Kolten) Clubine, and Tristan Meyers; five great grandchildren, Bailey, Gage, Wendell, Cordell, and Grayden; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Carol Lee and Ronnie Mason; one daughter-in-law, Shellie Eitel; and one sister-in-law, Joann Mason.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in La Plata, Missouri. Inurnment will be in the La Plata Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 15, 2023 with the family receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
