NATIONAL LEAGUE
ATLANTA 14 – Colorado 6… The Braves overcame an early five-run deficit to blow past the Rockies. Eddie Rosario homered twice and knocked in six runs. Ozzie Albies contributed a three-run homer and a run-scoring single. Michael Harris II also cracked a three-run homer.

Miami 4 – WASHINGTON 2… The Marlins eased past the Nationals to complete a series sweep. Bryan De La Cruz lifted a tie-breaking sacrifice fly and Jorge Soler singled home a run in the top of the fourth inning. Jesus Luzardo (6-5) gave up two runs on five hits over six innings.

St. Louis 8 – N.Y. METS 7… Nolan Arenado’s second homer of the game broke a tie-in the top of the ninth inning and the Cardinals hung on to edge the Mets in the rubber game of the series. Paul DeJong and Jordan Walker also homered for St. Louis. Paul Goldschmidt lined a two-run double.

MILWAUKEE 5 – Pittsburgh 2… Raimel Tapia’s sacrifice fly brought home Willy Adames with the tie-breaking run as the Brewers scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to down the Pirates and finish off a sweep. Luis Urías capped the scoring with a two-run single.

San Francisco 7 – L.A. DODGERS 3… LaMonte Wade, Jr. and Luis Matos drove in two runs apiece as the Giants cruised past the Dodgers and sweep the series. Logan Webb (6-6) allowed two runs on eight hits over seven innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
BOSTON 6 – N.Y. Yankees 2… The Red Sox  breezed past the Yankees in the opener of a doubleheader after spotting them an early two-run lead. Connor Wong doubled home Enrique Hernández with a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the sixth inning and scored on Alex Verdugo’s double.

BOSTON 4 – N.Y. Yankees 1… Alex Verdugo scored a tie-breaking run on a catcher’s interference call in the bottom of the fourth inning and Triston Casas doubled home two runs in the fifth as the Red Sox put away the Yankees to complete a sweep of the twinbill. Brayan Bello (4-4) surrendered a run on four hits over seven innings.

L.A. Angels 5 – KANSAS CITY 2… Shohei Ohtani smacked a go-ahead two-run homer and Mike Trout followed with a solo shot in the top of the fifth inning to give the Angels the lead for good in their win over the Royals. Dylan Walsh also went deep. Tyler Anderson (4-1) gave up two runs on six hits over five innings.

Detroit 6 – MINNESOTA 4… Spencer Torkelson connected for a tie-breaking two-run homer in the top of the fifth inning, Kerry Carpenter followed with a homer and the Tigers went on to beat the Twins. Andy Ibanez went 3-for-4 with an RBI single.

TEXAS 11 – Toronto 7… The Rangers erased a 6-0 deficit after 2-1/2 innings to take down the Blue Jays. Leody Taveras singled home a tie-breaking run in the bottom of the fifth inning and homered with a runner aboard in the seventh. Jonah Heim also went deep. Corey Seager went 4-for-5 with three RBIs. Ezequiel Duran also had four hits.

SEATTLE 5 – Chi. White Sox 1… Julio Rodríguez opened the scoring with a two-run double in the bottom of the third inning and Jared Kelenic legged out a bases-clearing triple in the eighth as the Mariners topped the White Sox. Bryce Miller (5-3) gave up a run on four hits over seven innings.

INTERLEAGUE
Baltimore 6 – CHI. CUBS 3… Adam Frazier singled home a tie-breaking run during a three-run top of the sixth inning that pushed the Orioles past the Cubs. Ramon Urías singled home a run and lifted a sacrifice fly. Anthony Santander hit a game-tying homer to lead off the fourth.

Cincinnati 9 – HOUSTON 7 (10 innings)… The Reds came up with three runs in the top of the 10th inning to put away the Astros and extend their winning streak to eight games. Jake Fraley had a couple of hits, including a solo homer, and drove in three runs. Spencer Steer homered with a runner aboard. Jonathan India also circled the bases.

Cleveland 12 – ARIZONA 3… Josh Naylor went 4-for-5 and drove in three runs to lead the Guardians in their pounding of the Diamondbacks. Steven Kwan drove in three runs and scored four times. Tanner Bibee (3-2) allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings.

Philadelphia 3 – OAKLAND 2… Kyle Schwarber led off the game with his 20th homer and singled home a run as the Phillies held off the Athletics. Zack Wheeler (6-4) scattered six hits over six scoreless innings.

SAN DIEGO 5 – Tampa Bay 4… Joe Musgrove (5-2) limited the Rays to two runs on six hits over six innings and the Padres escaped with the victory. Manny Machado lifted a sacrifice fly and singled home a run.
