NATIONAL LEAGUE
L.A. Dodgers 6 – CINCINNATI 0… Clayton Kershaw (8-4) held the Reds to five hits over seven innings and Dodgers reliever Tayler Scott completed the shutout. Freddie Freeman singled home the only run Los Angeles needed in the top of the third inning and lifted a sacrifice fly in the fourth. David Peralta singled home two runs and Chris Taylor homered.

San Francisco 6 – COLORADO 4… The Giants pushed across three runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally past the Rockies. Brandon Crawford doubled home a tying run and came around to score on Joc Pederson’s single. Thairo Estrada opened the scoring with a first-inning homer. Michael Conforto homered with a runner aboard.

ATLANTA 13 – N.Y. Mets 10 (10 innings)… Ozzie Albies belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the Braves a come-from-behind walkoff win over the Mets. Orlando Arcia’s solo homer tied the game in the ninth. Austin Riley and Travis d’Arnaud hit two-run homers for Atlanta. Marcell Ozuna also went deep.

Arizona – WASHINGTON (ppd)… Unhealthy air in the nation’s capital forced postponement of yesterday’s Diamondbacks-Nationals game. It has been rescheduled for June 22.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Chi. White Sox 6 – N.Y. YANKEES 5… Eloy Jiménez hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning and the White Sox hung on to top the Yankees in the opener of a doubleheader. Jake Burger homered with a runner aboard and Chicago got solo shots from Luis Robert Jr. and Yoan Moncada.

N.Y. YANKEES 3 – Chi. White Sox 0… Randy Vasquez (1-1) pitched two-hit ball over 5-2/3 innings and got help from two relievers as the Yankees blanked the White Sox to claim a split of the twinbill. Gleyber Torres hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth inning. Billy McKinney homered to lead off the fifth.

TAMPA BAY 4 – Minnesota 2… Luke Raley tripled home a run and Harold Ramirez homered during a three-run bottom of the fourth inning as the Rays completed a sweep of the Twins. Yonny Chirinos (3-1) allowed a run on five hits over 5-2/3 innings.

TORONTO 3 – Houston 2… Brandon Belt singled home the tie-breaking run as the Blue Jays scored all three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to erase a 2-0 deficit and held off the Cubs. Jose Berrios (6-4) allowed two runs on four hits over six innings.

CLEVELAND 10 – Boston 3… José Ramírez homered three times and knocked in five runs to lead the Guardians in their pounding of the Red Sox. Will Brennan singled home a run and homered. Aaron Civale (2-1) gave up two runs on four hits over 5-2/3 innings.

INTERLEAGUE
Baltimore 6 – MILWAUKEE 3… The Orioles came from three runs down after six innings to double up on the Brewers. Henderson connected for a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning. Adam Frazier stroked a two-run double. Ramon Urías homered with the bases empty.

PHILADELPHIA 3 – Detroit 2… Brandon Marsh lifted a sacrifice fly and Kody Clemens singled home a run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Phillies scored twice to upend the Tigers. Philadelphia starter Zack Wheeler took a no-hitter into the eighth inning but didn’t get a decision.

L.A. ANGELS 3 – Chi. Cubs 1… Jo Adell hit a leadoff homer and Taylor Ward lifted a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second inning to give the Angels the lead for good in their win over the Cubs. Reid Detmers (1-5) allowed a run on five hits over 5-2/3 innings.
