NATIONAL LEAGUE
Pittsburgh 9 – SAN FRANCISCO 4… Ke’Bryan Hayes legged out a two-run triple to cap a four-run top of the third inning that gave the Pirates the lead for good in their win over the Giants. Andrew McCutchen and Connor Joe both went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored,

Washington 10 – L.A. DODGERS 6… Keibert Ruiz homered twice and knocked in three runs to lead the Nationals past the Dodgers. Luis Garcia belted a three-run homer.
Jeimer Candelario homered with a runner aboard and stroked an RBI single. CJ Abrams also went deep.

MIAMI 2 – San Diego 1… Jean Segura and Nick Fortes produced RBI singles in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Marlins over the Padres. The game featured a duel between Miami starter Braxton Garrett and his counterpart Blake Snell, but neither got a decision.

N.Y. METS 4 – Philadelphia 1… Mark Canha hit a go-head two-run homer in the bottom of the third inning and singled home two more runs in the fourth to lead the Mets past the Phillies. Carlos Carrasco (2-2) allowed a run on six hits over six innings.

ARIZONA 6 – Colorado 0… Tommy Henry tossed two-hit ball over seven innings and got help from two Diamondbacks relievers in the blanking of the Rockies. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. singled home a pair of runs to cap a three-run bottom of the first inning. Christian Walker homered with the bases empty.

AMERICAN LEAGUE
DETROIT 3 – Texas 2… Jake Marisnick’s run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning proved to be the difference in the Tigers’ win over the Rangers. The blast followed Jake Rogers’ go-ahead sacrifice fly.

L.A. Angels 12 – CHI. WHITE SOX 5… Shohei Ohtani hit a pair of two-run homers to lead the Angels in their pounding of the White Sox. Mike Trout and Jared Walsh also homered with a runner aboard. Jose Barria (2-2) gave up a run on four hits over five innings.

Cleveland 12 – BALTIMORE 8… Josh Naylor went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and six RBIs in leading the Guardians past the Orioles. Gabriel Arias also homered with a runner aboard. Josh Bell also went deep.

Minnesota 8 – HOUSTON 2… Louis Varland (3-1) pitched four-hit ball over seven innings and the Twins cruised past the Astros. Donovan Solano drove in four runs with a single and a double.

SEATTLE 1 – N.Y. Yankees 0 (innings)… Cal Raleigh singled home Jose Caballero with the game’s only run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Mariners over the Yankees. Seattle starter George Kirby limited New York to three hits over eight innings.

INTERLEAGUE
Tampa Bay 4 – CHI. CUBS 3… Jose Siri homered with a runner aboard in the top of the eighth inning to power the Rays past the Cubs. Brandon Lowe put Tampa Bay on the board with a two-run homer in the seventh.

Atlanta 4 – OAKLAND 2… Oscar Albies hit a two-run homer to spark a three-run top of the fifth inning and the Braves held off the Athletics. Jared Shuster (2-2) allowed two runs on three hits over 5-1/3 innings.

Milwaukee 4 – TORONTO 2… Abraham Toro homered with a runner aboard in the top of the fourth inning and Owen Miller added a decisive two-run double in the seventh as the Brewers topped the Blue Jays. Julio Teheran (1-1) limited Toronto to four hits over six scoreless innings.

Cincinnati 5 – BOSTON 4… Spencer Steer slammed a tie-breaking two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning and the Reds hung on to edge the Red Sox. Nick Senzel had a couple of hits, including an RBI single.
