Royals Drop See-Saw Contest

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — — Ramon Urias hit a go-ahead, two-run single in the eighth inning, then added a two-run double in the ninth, helping the Orioles overcome a blown seven-run lead and give Baltimore a 13-10 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Thursday.

The Orioles led 8-1 before their bullpen — which had the sixth-best ERA in the majors coming into the day — allowed Kansas City to come back. The Royals pulled ahead on Bobby Witt Jr.’s single in the seventh. The Orioles didn’t allow that lead to last very long.

RHP Brad Keller (2-2, 3.56) gets the Friday night start against Oakland, 7:10 at Kauffman Stadium.
